Valentines Day 2012

I know Valentines Day is over-commercialised, but it seems curmudgeonly to ignore it completely.  We received so many smiles when the children were walking home with their heart-shaped balloons, and yet more from passer-bys when we hung them in our window. Happy Days!

  5. I looked for them everywhere and finally struck gold in Paperchase. Then Thorntons charged 50p to blow them up with helium. Thanks for the window compliments! The house you can just see is really neglected and one of these days they're going to come home and find me painting it - it would make such a big difference to our view. A friend once said you should always live on the ugliest house on the street, that way you don't have to look at it!
