Happy Birthday Grandpa!

It's my father's 77th brithday today (he of the marmalade-making) so we made number biscuits yesterday and decorated them this morning. Z and E insisted we make some 2's and 4's for their ages as well. I usually make these to put in party bags on the children's birthdays but you're never too old for bespoke biscuits! They love making them and our floor always ends up a mess of biscuit dough, colouring, silver balls and glitter.

  1. What a lovely idea, bet Grandpa was thrilled to bits! As you know we're on a break from parties at the moment, with special family days in favour but of course we still go to parties. I'm going to pinch your idea but instead of popping them into party bags will give them as a gift instead. Excellent... thank you for the inspiration. x

  3. Hello.
I'm a big fan of making 'number' biscuits for birthdays of all ages.
I treated myself to a set from Nigella and love them.
You've just reminded me that it is my mum's 76 birthday this week, so I need to get baking. x
