Harbourside Steam Train

We went for a trip on the steam train that runs along the Harbourside. Z loves all things train-related and although we visited last year he couldn't remember so was very excited. For any Thomas the tank engine enthusiasts the train looks a little like Stanley, we decided. Passenger carriages are open-topped and the track runs along the river so lots of people to wave to along the way. It stops at the Create Centre where you can disembark and takes about 20 minutes to do a return trip.

Useful info:

Train runs from 11.00am - 5.00pm on various dates from March - October - see here for exact dates.
Prices are £3.00 return for adults and under 6's are free.
Visit the Bristol Buttery on the quayside for a coffee or snack - it's a Bristol institution.
